Happy Niu Year! I'm back in Kuching for almost 10 days already. Really been enjoying the rain, food and the company of family and friends, some of whom I've not seen for years. Just had a reunion/birthday dinner for my grandmother who's 89 years old yesterday.

Plenty of relatives here in Kuching this year round.

My grandmother is very old so sometimes she cannot recall things. Like she cannot remember if me and my brother are twins. We don't look very alike now so can't really blame her.

Been raining literally non-stop for a few days here in Kuching already. According to one of my uncles, 8 months worth of rain fell during the month of December alone. Some places in Sibu are completely submerged. The floods are not as bad as in Kuching, but the rain really limits the places that you can go. The beaches and mountains are out of the question already.

And not forgetting my cat.

I will be flying back to KL in about 1 hour. Back to class tomorrow.
